How to Master "Blessed are the Meek" in Red Dead Redemption 2: A Gold Medal Guide
Hey there, gamers! 🎮 Are you ready to dominate the "Blessed are the Meek" mission in Red Dead Redemption 2? If you’re looking to snag that coveted Gold Medal and level up your gaming skills, you’ve come to the right place! In this detailed guide, we’ll walk you through all the steps you need to take, the strategies to use, and the tips that will help you meet the Gold Medal requirements. Let’s saddle up and ride into it!
Step 1: Preparing for the Mission
First things first, head over to Strawberry and make your way into the jail. Arthur Morgan, our hero, will pretend to be a bounty hunter looking for Colm O’Driscoll. But guess what? The sheriff won’t let you see the captured prisoners, including your buddy Micah!
Pro Tip: While in the jail, remember to visit Micah behind the bars. You can decide to either greet him or rile him up a bit, but it won't change much. What’s crucial is that you put on a disguise before heading out! This is important because things are about to get chaotic! 👀
Step 2: Breaking Micah Out
Now, here’s where the action starts! You’ll have the option to break Micah free using either dynamite or a hook and chain mechanism. If you have dynamite, fantastic! If not, grab the hook from nearby, attach it to the bars, and activate the machine. Boom! You’re in business! 💥
Be prepared because once you free Micah, things will get loud and intense! Micah will deal with another prisoner and lawmen will spring into action, trying to take you down.
Step 3: Taking Down the Lawmen
Gold Medal Requirement: Your primary mission here is to take out all the mounted lawmen within 55 seconds. This means you have to be quick and accurate, so focus on taking them down first.
Once the first wave is cleared, Micah will dash off to grab his guns. While he’s preoccupied, don’t forget to loot the bodies of the lawmen you just took down for some extra cash!
Step 4: Keep Micah Safe
As you progress, position yourself behind a wagon near a short bridge. This gives you the perfect spot to watch for danger and keep Micah from running into trouble. If you take out the enemies blocking your path first, Micah will have a better chance of not getting himself killed.
Step 5: Headshots and Accuracy
Gold Medal Requirements: This part is crucial! You need to get 15 headshots and maintain at least 70% accuracy throughout the mission. To simplify this, switch to your shotgun once you’re on horseback. 🐎 Shooting while moving can be tricky, but staying precise is key to staying alive and hitting your targets.
Step 6: Get to Safety
Once you’ve taken care of the enemies, you can approach Micah (he's marked as a yellow dot on your map). After a heart-to-heart moment with Micah, you’ll learn that he’s headed back to camp and even gives Arthur a special off-hand holster—now you can carry and shoot two side-arms at once! 🎉
Conclusion: Moving Forward
And there you have it! By following these steps, you should be able to complete the "Blessed are the Meek" mission and achieve that Gold Medal. Next up in your adventure is the mission titled "The First Shall be Last," located near Blackwater. Keep practicing, and soon you'll be a pro at Red Dead Redemption 2! Happy gaming!
